We’re incredibly proud to share that the Nu Group has been shortlisted for the Green Supplier Award at the Festival Supplier Awards 2026.

Being recognised in the Green Supplier category is a huge achievement for our team and reflects the ongoing commitment we have to delivering more sustainable waste management solutions across the events industry.

Over the past year, our focus has been on reducing waste sent to general disposal, improving recycling rates, and implementing practical, on-the-ground systems that genuinely make a difference. From waste segregation and education on-site to working closely with event partners and venues, sustainability has remained at the heart of how we operate.

A particular highlight has been our work across large-scale seasonal events, where our teams have worked tirelessly — often in challenging conditions — to ensure materials are correctly segregated and diverted from landfill wherever possible. These efforts not only reduce environmental impact but also support a more circular approach to waste management within the events sector.

Being shortlisted for this award is a testament to the dedication, resilience, and professionalism of our operational teams, as well as the strong collaborations we’ve built with our clients and partners.
