Our onsite teams carefully segregate waste to ensure materials are properly sorted and ready for baling. This proactive approach reduces contamination, boosts recycling rates, and reflects our commitment to more sustainable event operations.
Our innovative waste management process combines practical onsite sorting with data-driven reporting, helping us monitor and improve recycling performance across multiple events. Soft plastics and cardboard are baled onsite, while cans and glass are crushed to reduce volume. Hard plastics and other waste streams are segregated and placed into dedicated skips for processing at approved recycling facilities. This system minimises vehicle movements, reduces contamination, and ensures materials are handled in the most environmentally responsible way.
The results speak for themselves: 89% recycling at Lido, 83.7% at All Points East, and 74.9% at BBC Radio 2 in the Park.

As part of our ongoing commitment to efficiency, we’ve invested in the Weibang Intrepid LV 800 — a self-propelled vacuum built for high-performance litter and leaf control. Powered by a 163cc Loncin engine, it handles varied terrain with ease, making it ideal for parks, venues, and high-footfall zones. Its 80cm working width and 240L collection bag enable fast, continuous operation, while the 3m hose makes confined spaces easy to reach. With durable steel construction, large rear wheels, and variable speed control, it offers both reliability and operator comfort in demanding environments.
We’ve also introduced the Truvox Multiwash Pro Steam, combining powerful scrubbing with steam cleaning technology for deeper, more hygienic results. The system sanitises surfaces without the need for harsh chemicals, reducing water usage and drying times while improving cleaning performance. This investment supports our goal of creating cleaner, safer spaces through innovative, environmentally responsible solutions.
We hired Nu-clean for our project at Excel, and every staff member they’ve provided has done a fantastic job. Their communication is excellent, and they’re always prompt in responding to our requests and staffing needs.
