Greener solutions to the way we work

At The Nu Group we recognise that our cleaning activities can have an environmental impact and as a business are committed to ensuring we minimise, and where possible mitigate, our carbon footprint. We operate in a responsible manner and are continually looking at products and initiatives that will affect our environment positively.

As part of our commitment to operating in an eco-friendly manner, we use only environmentally friendly product where possible. Our full range of NTRL Products are an alternative to traditional chemicals that use technology based on biology to deliver a safer and more efficient cleaning process transforming how we clean.

All products from the range use raw materials that are derived from plant based extracts that are less harmful to human health and the environment. Products that are vegan friendly and have not been tested on animals.

Cutting down on plastics

The bottles used in the NTRL range are made from 100% Post Consumer Recycled Plastic (CPR) reducing CO2 emissions by 85% compared to virgin plastic. The plastic used has been recycled rather than sent to landfill and collected from local sources. No virgin plastic is used in our PCR bottles.

The product encourages users to retain sprayer bottles by refilling from the corresponding concentrated product, using a pelican pump or container cap. Keep the pumps/triggers so these can be re-used. By re-using and refilling the empty bottles will help reduce plastic consumption and the impact on the environment.

 

EcoNatural’s Circular Economy

The innovative production process that has led to the creation of EcoNatural allows us to recycle all the components of beverage cartons, separating cellulose fibres from polyethylene and aluminium through a mechanical-physical process, without using substances harmful to human health or the environment.

The benefits are evident: recovery of beverage cartons, lower CO2e emissions in the atmosphere and the saving of trees.

All the dispensers in the EcoNatural line are made in Al.Pe.®, the certified recycled raw material produced from beverage cartons.

To add even further to the product advantages, Lucart are committed to a sustainable packaging programme, favouring recycled paper or recycled plastic packaging.
